FIVE COUNTIES TOURNAMENT MATCH REPORT

Congratulations to all players who competed in the 5 Counties Festival at the weekend.

All our players competed brilliantly against strong opposition from Warwickshire, Wiltshire, Worcestershire and SE Wales. There was some very close matches on both days and all our players did us proud.

Saturday was when the U11’s took battle. There were 6 players per team and could comprise of girls and boys.
It was a fantastic atmosphere and it was also great to see to see them all marking so confidently.

We did it all again on Sunday – this time with the U13 teams: Playing for Gloucestershire were Adam Ryder, Isobel Johnson, Owen Meissner, William Franklin, Ruby Goymer-Brown and Daisy Poulsom. We had a great mix with 3 boys and 3 girls.

Again, everyone competed very well and there were some very close matches. Adam, at number 1, was outstanding winning all 4 of his matches against strong opposition.
