U13 Girls Inter-County Finals Report (Junior)

The under 13 girls had a fantastic day at the intercounty finals in Nottingham; they reached the final by being unbeaten in all their previous matches. 

They started off by playing a very strong Warwickshire side. They lost but all put up a great fight and had some very close matches. 

 

They then played Essex. Jess played a strong match winning 3-0 and this was followed up by Bhuna who also won 3-0. Daisy at 2 had a very close encounter narrowly losing in the 5th but Gloucestershire won this match which was a great achievement. 

 

We then played in a 3/4 play off against Yorkshire who were again a very strong side. They were all very competitive matches and, even though they lost the matches, were very competitive and Yorkshire commented on how well all our girls played.

 

The day was finished nicely as we all went out for dinner where the girls were on top form keeping us all entertained with all their school stories. They were all very pleased with themselves and can be incredibly proud of their achievements.
