County Closed Doubles and Entry of New Teams

Hi All, I hope you are all well.

I would like to announce that we will be running the Gloucestershire County Closed Doubles this year at Riverside Sports and Leisure Club, Gloucester to celebrate the full refurbishment of all their courts this week. The event will be held on the weekend of the 16th and the 17th of September and is open to anyone who is from Gloucestershire as well as anyone who has played for a local club within the county leagues. Please enter via the homepage of www.glossquash.com, when entering it will only allow 1 person to enter as a player so can you enter your doubles partners name in the 'Reason' section and then i can create the draws effectively. Last Entry is on the 10th of September so the draws can be published by Thursday 14th September.

We would like to offer all clubs the opportunity to try and encourage more lower level players to play team squash and be apart of the social scene that is so fundmental to this county and that everyone holds dear. We have decided to offer all clubs the option to enter a new team in the lowest division free of charge for their first full season to introduce new players into the county league system. They will still need to have ES memberships through your associated club but no county fee will be charged for that team. To qualify, 3 out of the 4 players in that team should have not played team squash before and previously not played any higher than Division 2 in the last 3 years. 

If you would like to enter a further team as stated above, please contact myself or Rich Ellis to confirm your clubs entry of the team and their associated players.
