    Match report

Sacha Cooper (2) and Dave Norton (3) were first on court against Wycliffe students William Franklin and Violet Su. Sacha lost the first two games against his long-standing friend and squash rival before mounting an impressive and stubborn comback to take the match in five. Meanwhile Dave lost the second and went several game balls down in the fourth to come back for a 3-1 win. Tony (1) and Simon (4) were next on court. Simon used his experience to push Mason Li into the four corners and win in three. Tony had a slow start, losing the first 2 games to Millie Breach before making the match interesting by taking the next two and, despite a match ball, losing 12-10 in the fifth. Finally, Rufus Exton (5) had several match balls in the third, before conceding the third and fourth games, but ultimately won the fifth well by making fewer mistakes. An overall 19-8 win which briefly saw Stroud A at the top of the table. Stroud A play East Glos away on Tuesday Nov 19th.
